A follow-up to the attention difficulties questionnaire. It shows which of three regulatory areas the difficulties actually arise in — the body and senses, emotion and relationship, or executive control — and what assessment and support specialists recommend for it.
I understand that the is not a diagnostic tool. No parent questionnaire can establish that a problem originates in the brainstem, the limbic system or the cortex — those names are an accessible metaphor for three interconnected functional profiles. The result points to the direction of further assessment, not to a diagnosis or an automatic therapy.
